HYPHEN is a Los Angeles-born Ghanaian American DJ, producer, and musician from Baldwin Hills, whose sound reflects the intersection of his West African heritage and the eclectic musical landscape of LA. Raised on the rhythms of Ghanaian music and the groundbreaking sounds of ’90s super-producers, he approaches music as both a form of expression and a way to bring people together. Blending soulful selections, global influences, and forward-thinking sounds, HYPHEN creates experiences that move beyond the music.

YNRTW is a brand and mixtape series co-owned by HYPHEN and Picaso of R Baron Records, built on a shared passion for breaking emerging artists and championing new sounds. The platform helped amplify Drakeo the Ruler’s music during his incarceration and premiered 03 Greedo’s "Never Bend" in partnership with Apple Music. Rooted in discovery and cultural influence, YNRTW continues to spotlight music that moves the culture.
